Don’t give the impression that you are targeting Christians, Suleman tells FG

Don’t give the impression that you are targeting Christians, Suleman tells FG

Johnson Suleman, general overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, has advised the federal government not to give the impression that Christians were being victimised.
In a statement by Phrank Shaibu, his communication adviser, Suleman said those who speak the truth have been vilified.
Recently, the Department of State Services (DSS) made attempt to arrest him.
After failing in the bid, the secret police then invited him to its Abuja headquarters.
Although he has promised to honour the invitation slated for Monday, the fiery cleric wondered why none of those responsible for killings in Kaduna have been arrested.
“There’s no end to the killing of Christians in Kaduna. Those behind the heinous crime are known. Yet no one has been charged for murder,” he said in a statement.
“Instead people like us who speak the truth are being persecuted. The federal government must not give the impression of partiality or suggest that Christians are the target of this administration.
“The governor of Kaduna state confessed that he paid money to some Fulani herdsmen as compensation to stop the killings in southern Kaduna.
“That means he knows those who have committed atrocities against Christians. He must be made to produce them to answer to charges of murder and other crimes.
“The governor’s response to the killings in Southern Kaduna has been  consistent with this mindset. In a recent chat with news men in Kaduna, the governor made different remarks to substantiate his love the herdsmen and their activities.
“First, he said when he became governor, he traced the attackers to Cameroon, Chad, and Niger and sent a message to them that one of their own, a Fulani like them, was now governor. This comment displays a dramatically bigoted mindset.
Suleman called on security agencies not to allow politicians and “ethnic warlords” use them to achieve “parochial objectives”.
He said such developments could lead to grave consequences for the country.
Recently, he told his congregation that he had ordered his security aides to kill herdsmen who come around his church premises.
Suleman said he gave the order after he learnt of a plot to assassinate him.
Fayose cautions DSS over planned detention of Apostle Suleiman, Bishop Oyedepo

Fayose cautions DSS over planned detention of Apostle Suleiman, Bishop Oyedepo

Ekiti state governor Ayodele Fayose has alleged that "there is plan to charge Apostle Suleiman and Bishop Oyedepo for incitement and attempt to cause public and make sure that they are not granted so to get them remanded in Kuje Prison perpetually."

Fayose described the plan as indirect invitation to religious crisis in the country as equally warned the Department of State Services (DSS) over the planned detention and trial of Apostle Johnson Suleiman of The Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide.
He said this plan was to humiliate these men of God as well as silence them and create fear in other people that may want to speak against the heinous crime against humanity being committed daily while perpetrators are being shielded by the federal government.
In a statement issued on Sunday by is special assistant on public communications and new media, Lere Olayinka, Governor Fayose said the DSS should tell Nigerians how many of the Fulani herdsmen that killed thousands of Nigerians across the country have been arrested before going after Nigerians who merely expressed their frustration over the to failure of the federal government to protect them.
The governor said; "Even though the DSS has allowed commonsense to prevail by properly inviting Apostle Suleiman as against the Gestapo manner with which the service attempted to abduct him last week Wednesday, it is still questionable that the DSS is more interested in a man who threatened to defend himself against any attack by Fulani herdsmen rather than those herdsmen that murdered thousands of Nigerians.
The governor said; "it is sad and worrisome that after muzzling opposition politicians, judiciary and the press, the APC led federal government has taking its desperation to suppress dissenting voices in the country to the House of God."
Governor Fayose maintained that; “If the DSS had acted swiftly like it is doing on Apostle Suleiman so-called inciting comments when people were being killed by herdsmen across the country, so many lives would have been saved.”
He advised the government and the DSS not to go ahead with these plans as it will heat up the polity and threaten the peaceful coexistence of Nigerians, calling on well meaning Nigerians to prevail on the federal
government to desist from acts capable of throwing the country into further crisis.
Governor Fayose, who reiterated his call for the release of the head of Nigeria's Islamic Movement (IMN), Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, who has been in detention since late 2015 despite that the court ruled that he should be released, affirmed that "he will continue to stand for Nigeria and its people, not for any religion and it is my position that rights of all Nigerians must be respected and protected.”
The governor urged the APC led federal government to pay attention to the economy it destroyed, with the aim to revamping it and saving Nigerians from the hunger ravaging the land.
"Nigeria is already being ravaged by war of hunger, economic recession, job loss and lack of leadership direction. It will be disastrous for the country to be plunged into religious crisis.
"Apart from during the civil war, Nigerians have not been badly divided as a nation as we are under the President Muhammadu Buhari administration. Killings under this government in 18 months are more than what was witnessed in the last 20 years," the governor said.

Apostle Suleiman talks tough, threatens to move against DSS

Apostle Suleiman talks tough, threatens to move against DSS

The head of the Omega Fire Ministries (OFM), Apostle Johnson Suleiman, has threatened to drag the Department of State Services (DSS) to court for allegedly attempting to arrest him in Ado Ekiti.
The threat by the fiery preacher to sue the DSS follows an alleged failed attempt by the secret police to arrest the pastor on Wednesday, January 25 at a hotel in Ekiti state, The Guardian reports.
But the operatives were stopped from detaining the preacher by Governor Ayodele Fayose who led a rescue mission to the hotel forcing the operatives to flee the scene.
The plan by Suleiman to sue the DSS was disclosed on Thursday, January 26, by the chamber of Olayiwola Afolabi & Co.
The law firm said it had the permission of Suleiman to take legal action against the DSS claiming “exemplary damages for its politically motivated moves against our client.”
The lead counsel of the company, Olayiwola Afolabi in company with William Usman, described the action of the DSS as “a Luciferic attack on a harmless, innocent and trustworthy citizen.”
Similarly, the director of media, OFM, Dr. Sule Emmanuel and coordinator, legal team, Samuel Amune flayed the government for attempting to arrest Apostle Johnson Suleiman.
He said: “Suleiman was forced to call on Christians to defend themselves against these killers since the spate of killings, rather than abate, had been on the rise. Interestingly, the call by the man of God now became the focus of the Nigerian government, despite the fact that it evidently had failed to protect her people. It is now determined to exploit the instruments of the state to go after the man of God."
Fayose said attempt by armed men of the Department of State Services (DSS) to arrest Apostle Johnson Suleiman of The Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide in Ado Ekiti would have caused serious trouble.
Speaking through his special assistant on public communications and new media Lere Olayinka, the chairman of the PDP Governor’s Forum, accused the federal government of indirectly supporting attack on Christians and other Muslim sects like the Shi’ites.

Islamization of Christians in Nigeria

Islamization of Christians in Nigeria

From what I see today in Nigeria I am very certain that Muslims would not need to use a violent Jihad to islamize Nigeria. CHRISTIANS themselves will be used by Muslims to islamize Nigeria. Just ask yourself how Muslim nations became Islamic nations? Is there any record of them doing evangelistic work? Did they tell people about how wonderful their prophet Mohammed is? How he raped women? How he beheaded nine hundred Jews in one day? How he had sex with a nine year old girl? How he was demon possessed for one year? How he could not perform a miracle? How he is a prophet without a prophecy? How he sold slaves for weapons of war?If MUSLIMS did not do evangelism how come there are 58 nations of the world today avowedly ISLAMIC countries? Including countries that used to be Christian countries. They used greedy pastors and stupid Christians. The ones they call the USEFUL IDIOTS. The Bible says, when men slept. These same CHRISTIANS were the ones that told us the elections had nothing to do with religion.*News flash! Buhari just registered Nigeria in the Islamic coalition against terrorism led by Saudi Arabia. The very same Saudi Arabia that is the chief sponsor of Islamic terrorism. What an irony!*Newsflash! The first major conference Buhari would bring to Nigeria is the INTERNATIONAL ISLAMIC CONFERENCE . A conference that "PASTOR" vice president cannot attend. While 'clueless' GEJ was convening INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC CONFERENCE at a time of plenty; Buhari is convening ISLAMIC CONFERENCE at a time of economic crisis. Now you see where his priority lies?*Newsflash! Muslims are now using El Rufai in Kaduna as a test case to see how they can stop CHRISTIANS from preaching the gospel, not even for you to listen to a gospel message in your car. Who knows they might even ban gospel music.*Newsflash! Other northern states are copying Mr El Rufai's law.*Newsflash! Fulani herdsmen are sacking Christian villages in the north.*Newsflash! Ambode sealed over twenty churches in Lagos for noise pollution. Not one Allahu Akbar morning yelling mosque was sealed. Ambode is supposedly a Christian remember? What do Muslims call them again? Something like useful Idiots.*Newsflash! The chapel at Aso Rock has been shut down and guess who had to explain to CHRISTIANS? Yeah our very own Pastor vice president. Again, another major very useful Idiot Whom they used to get the Christian votes.*Newsflash! The only minister to have died under Buhari happens to be a Christian Apologist. I mean a strong defender of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Somehow all the safety features in the car suddenly stopped working. Not one airbag deployed. Remember this is a Federal Minister riding in a very expensive car fitted with the best safety features. Did I also mention that the driver did not die? He was strong enough to pull out the body of the minister. Is okay?I hear many Christians say it is impossible to islamize Nigeria. The Question is, If they try it today will you pick up arms? What are you doing to make sure it does not happen? ***Newsflash! A bill to have grazing land all over Nigeria sent by the govt had passed the second reading and there is every possibity that the bill will pass as most southern christian legislators have been compromised. Get ready for Fulani muslim communities to be established in our christian communities. Between christians and muslims who is likely to change his or her religion? The christians, because we are not strong in faith and it is a death sentence for a muslim to change to Christianity or any other religion. Many christians will be lured with money to change to Islam and by boyfriend girl friend and inter-marriage. Remember, the project is being sponsored by Saudi Arabia and Nigerian govt. Therefore, money to convert christians to muslim will not be a problem. Please don't tell me you can never be lured with money. It has already started in Imo state. So we must PRAY NOW.......SEND TO MANY CHRISTIANS ALL OVER THE NATION TO LIFT UP HOLY HANDS......IT IS URGENT. TAKE IT SERIOUS MY BRETHREN PLS. Heaven is a witness u received this message.
Where Will Those Who Shout ‘Allah Akbar’ to Kill Others End Up? See What Sultan of Sokoto Has to Say

Where Will Those Who Shout ‘Allah Akbar’ to Kill Others End Up? See What Sultan of Sokoto Has to Say

Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, the Sultan of Sokoto and President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, NSCIA, has condemned the activities of Boko Haram insurgents, saying those who shout “Allahu Akabar” before killing human beings in the name of fighting Jihad will end up in hell.
Speaking in Ilorin, Kwara State on Tuesday, the monarch maintained that the activities of the terrorist group was anti-Islamic.
According to the monarch, “When people wake up and dress themselves up with explosives going into market and other public places and shouting Allahu Akabar and killing innocent people under the guise of jihad, thinking you are going straight to heaven.
“I have said it time without number that they could profess to be Muslims but what they are doing is anti-Islam. It is against the Holy Quran dictates of Almighty Allah and they are going to hell for committing murder unjustly.”

The Sultan criticized politicians, security agencies and the government over their poor handling of recent killings in Southern Kaduna.
He said, “We have been working hard to see how we can stop the menace of herdsmen and blamed the nation’s security operatives for their inability to contain their menace.

“I don’t want to say Fulani herdsmen. They could be any other thing.
“How could Fulani who move with their cows and family come to a village, kill people, destroy everything there and disappear into thin air like spirit?
“What are our security men doing? Where are our intelligence gathering?” he added.
”This cannot be allowed to go on,” he said. “Government has responsibilities to call people to order in such a straightforward way that people will understand that there is authority.
“We have been having this problem because of impunity in Nigeria. People do things and go scot-free in Nigeria.
“People commit murders and they are pardoned. Even when courts pronounce them to be sentenced to death they are later released and they are walking amongst us. It means crimes pay.”
